The lodges are located a short distance from the town, allowing for a peaceful and quiet stay. Some lodges even have parking right at the doorstep, making it convenient. the hosts are friendly and helpful, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the lodges themselves are equipped with everything you need, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Limited cooking facilities in the chalets may result in additional expenses who prefer to eat in.

The drive to the location was absolutely stunning, especially the route through Loch Lomond. the lodge we stayed in had a beautiful view right next to a stream, which made for a truly picturesque experience. the food at the on-site bar and restaurant was delicious and fresh, and we even received a discount as guests.
One thing that could have been improved was the communication and information provided at check-in. We were not given any information about the lodge or amenities, and had to rely on booklets in the lodge for details.

The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and offering peaceful surroundings. the cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with super bed linen and towels. We enjoyed exploring the nearby lochs and beaches, and the food at the Barn was fantastic.
The oven in our cabin was a bit problematic, setting off the fire alarm every time we used it.

The location of the hotel is ideal as it is situated in a peaceful and tranquil setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the chalets offer comfortable accommodation with well-equipped kitchens. being pet-friendly is a great advantage for animal lovers.
There is a lack of information regarding nearby walks, which may disappoint guests who enjoy outdoor activities.

The location was stunning, nestled amongst the hills, creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We were also grateful for the pet-friendly environment, as our dog had a fantastic time exploring the surrounding area.
Despite a few minor issues, such as an uncomfortable sofa and outdated decor, our overall experience was most enjoyable. We appreciate the effort put into maintaining the cleanliness of the accommodation.

We stayed at a wonderful luxury log cabin in a beautiful countryside location just a couple of miles outside. The facilities were excellent, including a fully equipped kitchen where we cooked a family meal with freshly caught fish. The owner, Katie, was very helpful and friendly, ensuring that everything was ready for our late arrival. The bedrooms were cosy and comfortable, a luxury after a long trip. It was also dog-friendly, which was a bonus. We loved our stay at Cologin Villa and it made our trip perfect.
Cannot find any fault 👌

The bed and sitting room were comfortable, and we loved sitting out on the decking area in the warm sunshine. The natural surroundings were stunning, with deer and sheep grazing nearby. The company of Kerryann in the bar was delightful, as she was a fantastic hostess.

Had a great time during New Year's at this hotel. the cabin was spacious, spotless, and had ample storage space. Loved the private balcony that surrounded the cabin. the staff was friendly and welcoming. the food at the restaurant was outstanding, and the prices were reasonable. the WiFi was easy to access, and the log fire added to the cozy atmosphere. the location amidst beautiful woodlands was perfect for walks and enjoying the scenic views. the local pub was dog-friendly, which was a bonus for us.
The lack of information about nearby walks was a downside, especially being unable to take the dog into the hills. the limited options for drinks and carry out at the barn meant having to travel into town.

I had a fantastic time at Cologin! The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in a quiet glen surrounded by peaceful nature. The cabin I stayed in was well equipped and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The directions provided by the hosts were clear, and the socially distanced check-in process made me feel safe. I appreciated the additional cleaning products, like the Dettol wipes, that were provided. It was also a nice change to have no phone signal or internet, allowing me to truly disconnect and enjoy a clean break from the outside world.
But this had nothing to do with the property itself.

The location of the hotel is ideal for sightseeing, being close to shops and within reach of beautiful walks and a nearby Loch for a refreshing swim. The rooms offer comfortable beds with top-quality linen and towels, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the luxurious bathrooms provide a touch of elegance to the stay.
The hotel could benefit from providing complimentary items like tea bags, coffee, and biscuits upon arrival, making guests feel even more welcome.

The location was convenient, close to amenities yet secluded. The Barn Restaurant offered delicious, reasonably priced food with friendly staff. The accommodation met our needs and allowed us to enjoy the outdoor decking area. The onsite pub was welcoming and dog-friendly. The hosts were attentive and provided helpful recommendations for local activities.

We had a fantastic time exploring the surrounding area, with its beautiful castles, beaches, and harbours. the peaceful location provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. the comfortable beds ensured a restful sleep, and the outdoor area was perfect for enjoying meals in the fresh air. Plus, having an electric vehicle charging point was a great bonus.
We did find that the check-in process lacked hospitality and personal interaction.
